Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 28, 2026

Aridial LLC d/b/a SimpleLogs ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights with respect to it. By using SimpleLogs, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you register, we collect your name and email address. If you authenticate via a third-party provider (e.g., GitHub or Google), we receive the profile information that provider shares with us.

Customer Data

The core of our service is storing the log events and performance timing data you send to us through the SimpleLogs SDK. This data is entirely under your control — we store it to display it back to you and to power the analytics in your dashboard.

Payment Information

We do not store your payment card details. All billing is processed by Stripe, our payment processor. We store only the information Stripe returns to us (e.g., a subscription ID and billing status) to manage your account.

Usage and Technical Data

We collect standard server logs and technical metadata (IP addresses, browser/user-agent strings, request timestamps) for the purpose of operating the service, debugging issues, and detecting abuse. This data is not sold or shared with third parties.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and improve the SimpleLogs service;
  • Process billing and manage your subscription;
  • Respond to support requests and communicate important service updates;
  • Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents;
  • Comply with legal obligations.

We do not use your Customer Data (log events or timing data) for any purpose other than delivering the service to you. We do not use it to train AI models or for advertising. See our AI Policy for more detail.

3. Information Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share information only in the following limited circumstances:

  • Stripe — our payment processor. Stripe receives billing information necessary to process transactions and is subject to its own privacy policy.
  • Cloud infrastructure providers — we use hosting and cloud storage services to operate SimpleLogs. These providers process data on our behalf and are contractually bound to protect it.
  • Legal requirements — we may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Aridial LLC, our users, or the public.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your account information and Customer Data for as long as your account is active. When you close your account or your subscription ends, all Customer Data — including log events and timing data — is permanently and irreversibly deleted immediately. Account metadata may be retained for a brief period solely to resolve any outstanding billing or legal matters.

You may also request deletion of your account and data at any time by contacting us at support@simplelogs.io.

5. Security

We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Children's Privacy

SimpleLogs is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a prominent notice in the service before the changes take effect. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.

8. Contact

If you have questions or concerns about this Privacy Policy or how we handle your data, please contact us at support@simplelogs.io.
